Ryan has been training at LBJJC since 2021, but originally started training Tae Kwon Do and Jiu Jitsu in 2017 in Washington state. He served in the U.S. Army and National Guard as an Infantryman and Intelligence Analyst for 12 years, and also taught Defensive Tactics and Use of Force for five years as a Probation Officer in state government. Ryan’s favorite position is the saddle, and is often seen performing the Texas Cloverleaf on opponents twice his size.
